Updating the status of legislation

This is the main task of the Coordination Office.

The legislation concerned contains a large selection of acts of general application published in the Belgian official gazette, the consultation of which is of relevance to the work of the magistrates of the Council of State. For example, all the drafts or preliminary drafts of legislative and regulatory acts subject to the opinion of the Legislation Section are registered.

Updating the status of legislation means providing accurate and exhaustive information on its current and past status. The database refLex has been developed to ensure this task.
